SciQuip Calendar Competition

The Sciquip 2022 Calendar Competition 'Wildlife in Colour' is now CLOSED!!!

Keep taking snapshots of the wonderful British countryside and keep your eyes peeled for our 2023 Calendar Announcement.

Our 2022 Calendar theme was Wildlife in Colour & we were not dissapointed!

In our fourth year of our popular competition we received a record number of entries & we were overwhelmed by the standard of the photos submitted.

As well as the photos we receive, we love to hear the stories behind the photos, about how our photographers are embracing the great outdoors & waiting patiently to capture the perfect shot.

We'd like to thank everyone who entered the competition, the standard was incredibly high but after much deliberation from the judges Stephen Clark's badger (featured as our August entry) was chosen as the winner of the competition and £350 of Amazon vouchers.

Amateur photographer Stephen said on winning 'I'm speechless, wow! How exciting, I've only been taking photos a few short years!' His baby badger image was taken in his friends garden in Hawick on the Scottish boarders, the badger family use his garden as a passing place every night & after studying for a while Stephen noticed the male adult would come check out the area then let the young ones come out, amazing to watch! Stephen did a slight cough and the little one hear him, looked straight at him for a split second before he dashed off.

A big congratulations to all of our competition winners! Take a look at our Top 12 Winning images:
