ATEX balances were developed specifically for those areas where there is explosion danger, e.g. through handling of flammable substances, which are present in high concentrations in the form of gas, mist, vapour or dust. Typical fields of application are to be found, for example, in the crude oil processing industry, e.g. in all kinds of refineries.
But also in the pharmaceutical or chemical industries, where you are processing oils, alcohols or Benzenes, in the manufacture of paints and lacquers, as well as in the cosmetics industry in the manufacture of alcohol-based cosmetics.
