Clifton unstirred water baths - ShallowBaths series

The Unstirred water baths (ShallowBaths Series) from Clifton are manufactured from Stainless Steel and painted surfaces have a anti-bacterial finish offering a good chemical resistance. These Digital baths are available in digital (NE2-2D, NE2-5D or NE2-9D) or analogue (NE1-9) options. Either option have user friendly controls and are for general use with small bottles & flasks for life science applications. All heaters and temperature sensors are concealed under the tank. All units have side handles for ease of lifting.

The ShallowBaths can also be used for molecular-biology methods with dry incubation by using Bath Armor. Bath Armor can be used with tubes, microtubes and racks. This method of using no water, cuts out any possibility of contamination normally associated with water baths. Also the units will not require emptying, cleaning or refilling with water, creating a more productive lab.

For the Digital models the temperature setting / LED display is via an PID Digital controller for setting to 0.1°C increments with a simple push button panel. The temperature setting is retrieved from memory, even after power off. The Thermostatic model is controlled via a dial with 5°C increments.

The ShallowBaths are available in 2, 5 and 9 litre capacity tanks and includes a removable stainless steel perforated shelf. They require less water and less process chemicals, therefore are economical to use.

The ShallowBaths Series of models are not recommended for use at sub-ambient temperatures.
For elevated temperatures above 60° then the optional lid or spheres are recommended for best performance.
